Your health and dental benefits
The Health Benefits Plan is designed to cover a variety of health and dental expenses to keep you and your family healthy.
Health benefits include:
- Prescription drugs;
- Paramedical services (e.g., Chiropractor, Naturopath, Massage Therapist, and more);
- Physiotherapist and psychologist services;
- Medical services and supplies (e.g., private duty nursing, hearing aids, orthotics and more);
- Vision care (e.g., glasses, frames, examinations and more); and
- Out-of-province/Canada medical emergency coverage.
Dental benefits include:
- Basic and preventative services (e.g., recall examinations, x-rays, scaling, polishing, and more);
- Major restorative services (e.g., dentures, crowns, fixed bridgework, and more); and
- Orthodontic coverage (e.g., braces, retainers, and more).

Your financial protection benefits
Financial protection benefits provide you and your loved ones support if the unexpected happens. Benefits may include:
- Life insurance
- Accidental Death and Dismemberment (AD&D) insurance, and
- Disability insurance (long term and short term)
Your financial protection benefits will remain identical to the current coverage applicable to your group.
